once per month.  i have a lot of clothes, sheets, towels, etc.  i think that's a bit unusual though.  i'd probably do laundry every 3 weeks, given my preference (long story..).

ah.  well when i do eventually do laundry, i have like 12-15 loads with all my clothes, bedding, towels.  and then i have a ton of stuff that i wash by hand.  it's a nightmare.  usually takes the entire weekend.
