Okay, it's official: Sew Drunk will be meeting this Wednesday, 10/18, at the Vivace in Capitol Hill (901 E. Denny Way). We've got the back room booked from 7:00 to 9:00, so come on down and bring whatever you're working on!
There has been talk of fashioning handmade pimp cups as well, so if you're feeling BeDazzled, bring your rhinestones and goblets. Pimp cups = perfect for everyone on your holiday list!
Hope to see you all there! We're taking suggestions for the permanent home of Sew Drunk (preferably somewhere fairly central that serves alcohol), so put your thinking caps on...

As much as I'd like to make an exciting pimp cup on Wednesday, I a: have no time to get pimp materials, and b: am starting to knit something totally fun tonight and I know I'm going to be addicted to it come Wednesday and will spend every waking second wanting to knit it. So yeah. Knitting it shall be for me!
I promise I will try not to put you all to sleep, since we all know I'm the most boring person in existence.

Can we really bring glue guns in there? That was the only thing keeping me back from going on a major pimp cup supply run tomorrow. I didn't think they'd appreciate me leaving molten glue snot all over their nice tables. But if you think they won't care, well...

Why would they mind? It's not like we're bringing stun guns into the establishment! Though, that might be fun as well.
Maybe we should also bring crazy glue. Cause will hot glue work on glass and a metal like substance? But, if we're using crazy glue don't forget to bring the fingernail polish remover. I have definitely glued myself to myself more times than I'd care to admit too!

Well, I was just thinking they might not want us bringing in hot glue guns because of the electrical cords and hot glue mess factor. Superglue would probably work too... although I will definitely be BeDazzling myself on accident if I use that stuff!
I was going to try to go to the dollah store tonight after work, so let me know if you want me to pick you up a goblet and what color! Hopefully they'll have some that will work for pimp cup purposes.
