If you like free and you like museums here's a list of all the museums I know of that offer free admission on the first Thursday of each month, along with their 'free' hours that day.  Yes I know the first Thursday for August was yesterday, now you have one month to plan a visit for September.

   I was suppose to hit up the SAM yesterday to see the impressionist exhibit- FYI to all... they charge half price for the special exhibits on the first Thursday at SAM

   I'm glad you ladies are finding it useful, and are able to get out and enjoy a museum or two next month.
   
   The Inspiring Impressionism exhibit is well worth a visit to SAM, if you get a chance go see it before it's leaves on September 21st.

    Tacoma Art Museum does the free third Thursday as well from 10:00 am - 8:00 pm http://www.tacomaartmu....  
    
    And the State History Museum also in Tacoma does free Thursdays from  5:00 pm - 8:00 pm every Thursday, per their website, http://www.washingtonh....
