D.J. "Iron Gut" Y. says:
A side note: We've been to Queen of Sheba and DeARFIC, pass on the latter.
Ethiopian food is wonderfully spicy, textures somewhat like East Indian, but similar to Thai where rice is the main filler, here is couscous. The "Injera" a rubbery/spongy like "tortilla" that is used like a mop/spoon is wonderful, if done properly. Spices used are fenugreek, cumin, basil, coriander, ginger, saffron, mustard, cardamom, and thyme, YUMMY, once combined together. For Veggie-heads this is another option than Indian food.
Why we went to DeARFIC twice is beyond me. The Queen is a wonderful restaurant, minus the Africa-hot interior of the restaurant, during a summer's eve and the general lack of parking. I also like my water to be cold and not cloudy/rusty-ish, but that's just me.
Maria, this sounds and looks like something to investigate!!
