It's more than that. It's not even a common/accepted/real name in my culture, which prompts a lot of arguing over how to write my name and what it means. I've actually gotten stopped and questioned by immigration/customs officials in Chinese airports because they think I've written my name incorrectly.
Phonetically, I think it sounds harsh. Everytime my mom calls, she says "Yeee-ah..." and I cringe. I dislike how short it is. Two letters! Gmail wouldn't even let me get an email address with my name yi.s--@ because they require a minimum of 6 characters, not including the dot. I was very sad.
But really, I could spew reason after reason.
Elizabeth and Victoria are good names, but they are a bit long. Victoria also conjures up images of a girl I knew back in middle school. But, please, keep suggesting names.
