Mori "effin' genki" Y. says:
Bacon would exclude any kosher and halal observers, which actually make up a big contingent of in-n-out fans

Is there such a thing as kosher bacon?

Lauren S. says:
No. It's perfect just the way it is. I don't like too much shit on my burger. Just meat, cheese, and lots of ketchup. Mmmm.

Does the sun shine every day, regardless of clouds obscuring it??
Who can we write to to make this happen?? I don't think they have ever offered bacon! It's a natural thing .... bacon, beef and cheese.

Kay B. says:
Maybe the Taste of a In-n-Out burger doesn't go with Bacon ..... I'm sure that the Research and Development department at In-n-Out have done extensive research on their Menu ..... Maybe Bacon don't fit in to the Taste of there Burgers ... Should test it out ... Bring some Bacon strips with me the next time i go ... and slip it in

Gil "whoo hoo" S. says:
Are in-n-out burgers really kosher or halal? It's almost impossible that they're kosher if they're cooked in the same facilities that handle the cheese.
BH, there's no kosher bacon per se, but there is something funky called "breakfast beef." It's fairly tasty but it's definitely not bacon.
There was once a debate whether bac-o's and tofu bacon should be kosher. They are smoked non-pig products made to look like bacon and the question was, if God tells us not to eat bacon, is it okay with God if we just pretend we're eating bacon. The answer I think is yes. God lets us pretend to sin as long as we don't actually sin.

In'n'Out doesn't care. They put bible verses on the bottoms of their cups.

Kay B. says:
Bringing strips of Bacon with you and slipping it on your burger is not going to cut it .... it needs to be Fresh
the way In-n-Out makes Burgers ..... i guess nobody will know till they put Bacon on their Menu :)

Perci "Hate the Player, Not the Game" N. says:
Go have the Angus Sirloin Ciabatta burger from Jack 'N the Box and you won't eat the crap at In 'N Out ever again.
And you can add bacon -- and yes, bacon makes beef taste better.

Kay B. says:
What about bringing a portable Grill !!!
Just like the Bacon Dog Cart --- i can grill Fresh Bacon !
and station it outside ---- In-n-Out -----
the name ---- " Would U like Bacon with your Burger "
What an Idea !

I am going to re-open this conversation as I am in TOTAL agreeance with KayB. This should SO be a "secret menu" item. The Flying Dutchman is superb and the Well-done fries are groovy, but having an "Artery clogger" (Bacon Double-Double) would be the BEST!!

Knut O. says:
I swear, next time I go to In-N-Out I'm gonna ask them to cook a pack of bacon for me and my friends.
Perfect meal:
Bacon Double-Double Animal Style sans tomato and pickles (I just don't like 'em) with whole cooked onion slices, and fries lightly well done with lot's of salt and pepper, no shake though (lactose intolerant and I don't eat refined sugar).

They would have to run it by the big J.C. for his bacon blessing since they're subliminal bible thumpers.
