This is the building on Harrison next to the Whole Foods.  The units are approximately 300 square feet.  Per the sign, prices start in the high $200,000's.  Only in SF would someone build housing next to a mental health facility.

Has anyone seen the units?

i've been dying to know as well... i drive by on my way home every night and always wonder... is a home for $200,000 in San Francisco too good to be true?

  2. 8/12/2008 Keane L. says:

300 sq feet is a closet though. Saw one that was 400 and it was a kitchen and a living space the same size as the kitchen and that was it. $400,000.

  3. 8/12/2008 Keane L. says:

It was a swanky place though..

I bought two and just knocked the walls down... now i have two kitchens :-/

I saw a unit last night.  Ideal for one person.  It's a nice but a very small studio.  The garden on the wall in the entryway is pretty cool.

But they have Anigre wood cabinets!

  7. 8/13/2008 John D. says:

    actually I have to one!

I don't mind living in a small space as long as there are good closets. I've lived in studios for 13+ years and don't really miss having a "living room".  It's just another room to clean!

The units are super cute and I've lived in Studios about that size but man, I have waaaaay too much stuff now to handle it. My music collection, clothes and shoes, and guitars alone would take up the whole apartment.

I had a 300 sq foot place, I had to get a loft bed to make it work but as long as you don't have tons of stuff it's cool. Mine had a "full" bathroom. No tub just a shower stall and a kitchen on one side of the living area. Lots of kitchen cabinets, full sized stove & oven, and a full size microwave & refrigerator :-) I liked it.. but I had to much stuff :-( so there were boxes everywhere. Although.. I paid $850 for it and the PG&E/Water/etc was included. However.. S.F. is much more pricey than Tracy.

wow it's cute but it feels so " IKEA" from the pictures. Not that there is anything wrong with that.. I just realized these are for sale not rent correct? I like this "feature" "A City Car Share vehicle is located in the garage, giving you convenient access to a car when you need it. "
