best bet would probably be Tongs Thai off of Austin Hwy in Alamo Heights. It's really good.

ooh read my reviews. I've covered most of the asian places in SA lol. umm tongs thai is probably the best. for a cheaper place, go to sarika's during lunch time.
other asian food places: french sandwiches for authentic vietnamese sandwiches (order S7), pho saigon for home brewed thai tea and delicious pho, phoenix cafe is a good chinese restaurant try the beef flat noodles, kim wah is another one... yepp happy eating! haha

I'm visiting from San Francisco where I eat at a ton of great thai joints..Anyway, my friend took me to thai-lao orchid and it was really good. They have this one dish I've never seen on any thai menu that consisted of ground chicken, broken up deep fried rice balls and herbs and spice, that you wrap in lettuce. something very special
