Hi everyone,
We're fans of bringing our own wine to restaurants, as what we have on hand is often just as good if not better than what's on the list. However, these places can be hard to find!
I know of a few:
RIch & Charlie's at 141 & Clayton (they charge per wine glass)
Monsoon (free)
Saleem's West ($7 per bottle)
La Gra ($10 per bottle)
Does anyone else have anything?

Euorleans Bistro in Millstadt , IL is BYOB. It's a really small place with weird hours, but if you can find it, I think it's the best cajun/creole food in Metro St. Louis. The address is 14 South Jackson, Millstadt, IL 62260. It's only about 15 minutes from downtown or South County.

Modesto Tapas (where I'm going tonight) has a corkage fee but I don't know how much. I'll try and remember to ask tonight. I always plan on taking one of my wines there but then remember the Sangria

Meskerem on Grand has a corkage fee of $5.
http://www.meskeremstl.../ We took a Zinfandel (NOT white) & it paired nicely.
Of course, corkage fees are subject to change at any time.

Trattoria Marcella in St. Louis Hills allows you to bring your own wine, although I cannot remember the fee.

Many restaurant owners will open rstaurants with a restaurant only license at first, because it is cheaper, easier, and faster. If you ask, they will usually allow you to BYOB until they have their liquorr license in place. I recommend hitting up the newbies.
