My co-workers and I are looking for a great/not too expensive burger joint around Centre and Grand for days when we're sick of Italian and Chinese.  I'd appreciate it if anyone has something to recommend.  Thanks so much!

woah, that's a tough area to come by a burger...  isn't there that diner on lafayette around grand or so...?  i'm sorry i can't offer a name or an address, but as soon as i find it, i'll let you know.

Yes there is.  It is the Landmark Diner.  We've decided the burgers there are stinky, as are the burgers at nearby 'Dom's'.  Thus the fervent search...

I always liked Silver Spurs on the corner of Laguardia Place and Houston.  Reasonable prices, big portions, fresh food and pretty fast too.  Their lemonade is good too.

Everybody where I work goes to D&D Deli for burgers. It's on Spring just east of Lafayette. I can't vouch for them myself because I'm a veggie...

I recommend Fanelli's and The Ear Inn.
Fanelli's also has a great grilled salmon sandwich.
love the Ear in...especially for drinks, their burgers are pretty damn good too
