I have a half night/morning to kill in MN  next wednesday. Its a random day to have nothing to do....however last visit I did the mall of america and I'd like to try something new.  Any suggesstions for someone passing through... indi bar, irish pubs, eclectic shopping, good theatres (movies or plays). This Cali girl is a bit nervous for the MN weather so if you locals could help me out on something fun thast I don't have to freeze my bum off I'd love it, Thanks :)

 Or the Local.  Everyone I have every spoken to ever from anywhere like the Local (on 10th and Nicollet)

 They actually played Janes Addiction last time I was there.  How cool is that?

if you ever come back get lost in the skyways because you never know where you might end up. there's a lot of stuff up above ground level that people don't know about including some cool places to eat, booze and blow money.

I'll be near nicollet I think or somewhere there ...what are these great skyways or where are the places to go to?
