No way on The Postman. Another source of tremendous unintentional comedy.
Example: When the effin postman rides by the house and the kid is too late bringing out the mail. Costner heroically reverses course and speeds back to the house, snatching the mail without even looking at the kid. AND THEN HE KEEPS GOING. He was like, "Eff it, I didn't want to finish my route anyway..."
Then at the end when they unveil the statue of that moment, and the kid is all grown up and crying at the ceremony..."That was me." hahahahaha

I should have added that M. Night Shayamalan also has a 95% fail rate on movies. Can't recall all of them, but I DO recall hating them. Only exceptions are 6th sense, 1st viewing only, and Unbreakable since it spawned many a hero film (and TV series) shortly after it came out.
