I've been yelping for about a month now. I've really got into it since I've been here. There are some that don't appreciate me... and I won't mention names... but I'm sorry. However, I'm going to keep doing what I'm doing.
500 reviews! Or close to it! lol. I haven't written page-long entries each... Sure, they could be lenghthier and more thorough, even. I don't think Yelp is necessarily all about that. Everyone has their own style and individuality and on Yelp we can all express that. I feel, I've done my best to try and express my creativity and to cultivate a "yelping style". Yeah, I guess that's what you could call it.
Non-reviews. Recently, I posted a list of ten places I hadn't been yet that kinda burned a hole in me... I thought it was a creative way to post. However, I realized even before-hand that it might alter overall ratings of places that have the highest reputations. So, I apoligize because I should have gone with my instincts and not made those postings. I made the postings right before sleep... and when I woke up...
I had been messaged more times at once then ever before... I read over some of the messages from various users... I didn't need to read them. I started deleting the reviews. So, no harm, no foul?
In the end, I'm glad to see how pro-active the users and staff at Yelp are. To everyone that asked kindly and politely to remove those reviews I say, "Thank you, my bads.." To everyone that didn't ask so nicely I say, "No problem. Let's get along now."
Okay, I don't want to waste any more space on this site... I thought I'd get my thoughts out there... keep yelping, ya'll!
