Its Small, has nice equipment, lots of treadmills, good amount of machines, not enough free weights for me. But definitely less crowded and cheaper than 24hour fitness. Southland, Hayward. Not too sure but their opening one up near Santa Rosa.

NO WAY OUT:
ONE DAY at 630 pm was told i could not quit until i paid off a balance due, therefore would accrue more monthly gym fees regardless of my ability to pay, even after the year contract finished.
told i would need to talk to a manager, who she said was no longer present. I asked to see a contract, she pulled one out and started reading it (but wasn't giving it to me) i took it and it pissed her off, i asked her if there was any other way i could quit, say by making weightlifting grunting sounds or not restocking weights while she proceeded to call security and describe me and tore the contract from my hands. she told security "we have someone here attempting to make a scene and failing" I asked her her name and she covered her badge (as if she was doing something wrong and didn't want complaints) her name started with D, black female, slightly stocky for a girl her hight, who's been working since earlier in the year. I asked her when the manager would be here and she wasn't cooperative. Is this a tactic for retention? Its no secret gyms try to keep people but is this to the extreme (saying i need to talk with a manager but
not telling me when managers are here, or lying to me about it). I didn't yell, threaten anyone, and it didn't warrant security being called. Simply called because she didn't want to deal with an unhappy costumer.
I explained to security the situation, he said over the radio "it was code four" meaning no further assistance necessary. he said the managers usually come in the morning.
THE NEXT DAY 105 pm called planet fitness, and was told the manager was there until 7pm on that day
