Wow ... 2 weeks, 4 states, lots of bowling, drinking, driving, baseball, football and other madness ... But I'm back now =)

I've got a lot of reviews to write, but I'd better get my homework done first and finish unpacking - just wanted to drop in and say hi to everyone!

You're back, and I'm sure now that you have experienced Cleveland, Ohio you are a completely changed man. You are, aren't you? I just know it.

BTW, did my team kick your butt or what? (I don't keep up on baseball!)

HaHa ...

Tonie - The Tribe beat The ChiSox the night I went, but they lost the other two games of the series I was in town for. Cleveland is ... Interesting =) Not a place I see myself, but it was a nice city (of course the weather didn't help - Thundershowers). Didn't spend too much time touring the city, but did get a chance to drive by Browns Stadium, R&RHOF and enjoyed Tower City Center (nice mall!) - Jacob's Field was awesome tho! I was amazed (and impressed), and bewildered that San Diego doesn't have half the amenities The Jake does ... That made me sad =(

The Jake ROCKS! I will agree with that. I got to do the "underground"  secret tour back in the 90s when the Tribe really was hot, and the Jake had a few years of completely sold out seasons. It was awesome. It's still an awesome park.

What a surprise - thunderstorms! hahah

Ok, best moment? Funniest moment? Most memorable moment? (Of the whole adventure, that is.)

Thanks y'all ...

Maaaaaan, most memoriable/funny/best moment??? There's so many ...

While I was at the Jake, there was a group of young fellas who were season ticket holders, quite educated on the game and the team as well as opposing teams and the league in general, many humurous comments and commentary throughout the game, but one of the best lines that came out in an exchange was, "He's got like 5% down syndrome" - Fill in your own punchline, but it was quite an amusing game.

The road trip portion was fairly entertaining - I can't tell you how many outlet centers we stopped at all over the place and the countless number of Coach stores I visited - yes ladies, I'm well versed in Coach.

Oh! And the Random Award in Cleveland goes to the bar next door to the Embassy Suites Downtown (I can't remember the name right now and I'm trying to figure it out) ... But inside the bar, they "THE CLAW" - you know like those little crain games where you go fishing for a stuffed animal or something ... Well, here's the twist and the random - it was "CATCH A LOBSTER" ... I kid you not! A water tank of lobsters and a crain claw that people were actually pumping cash into and playing ... We asked the bartender what happens when someone catches it, he said you take it home or if you really want, we can cook it here ... I wanted to put a string on it and walk it to the ballpark as my pet =)
