I have a major pet peeve...people who blow their noses while dining in a restaurant.. I'm not talking a very discreet one which we've all done..I'm talking the loud trumpet sounding kind that you can actually hear the crap coming out of their nostrils! And worst, are the ones who want to "look" at there hankerchief after to see what treasures they've found.. Does anyone else find this disgusting?

Barb "what, me worry?" B. says:
Ewwww!!!!!....disgusting.
But whats even worse, people who cough and sneeze without covering their mouths....they are everywhere. Haven't they ever seen those videos of the range of germs from a sneeze?? Egads. Almost as bad as flushing w/o covering the lid. The video of THAT made me queasy.

Emily C. says:
As someone with really horrible allergies that have, at times, been left untreated (hooray for insurance), I've had occasion to need to do such a thing at a table. I try to postpone as long as possible, and sometimes it's just not feasible to, say, get up and use the restroom to do it, and some people just *can't* do it quietly. It doesn't work that way.
I also understand taking a look -- if you're trying to figure out whether you're just having bad allergies, getting a cold, or developing a sinus infection, it helps to inspect. It is gross to do it obviously in public, though.
Sorry for being gross, but understand that those people are suffering and probably feel pretty self-conscious about needing to do it in the first place, too. Should people just not go out during allergy season?

Well, I guess if you feel it's acceptable to gross other people out with a loud honking because your too lazy to get up to go to the bathroom to blow your nose, then you shouldn't mind then if someone rips a loud stinky fart after a good meal...Mmm, Mmm!

I also hate it when people pick or blow their nose anywhere there are other people. If I have to do it I always get up and go in the bathroom and then wash my hands.

I HATE when people blow their nose in a restaurant. I just don't get why I have to listen to such a disgusting noise while I'm eating. A huge pet peeve of mine. Get up, go to the bathroom and take care of it PRIVATELY!
