Thanks to you, Yelp now has well over 10,000 reviews and weekly visitors in your beautiful windy city. We're now looking for an awesome Community Manager to join the Yelp team and support you (the active Chicagoland Yelpers) with cool events, contests and general Yelp inspiration. Among other things, the Community Manager will launch our Chicago Yelp Elite program, write a Weekly Yelp newsletter and host events for the hardcore Yelpers among you.

Thanks for asking, Ellen. We've been lucky to hear from several terrific yelper candidates and are hoping to sign at least one of them up in the next week. I'm fairly confident that you will be invited to at least a Yelp happy hour by the end of February.
