I'm looking for a service that will pick-up and drop-off my laundry on a weekly basis in Lakeview. The cheaper the better, but it needs to be reliable enough that my clothes don't get ruined. :)

Thanks!

Are you looking for just dry cleaning or fluff and fold too?

Sorry, I should have been more specific. I might have the occasional dry-cleaning, but mostly I just need my laundry done, dried, and folded.

Mike D.. Do you know how much they charge? I had the most amazing guy in San Francisco do laundry for like $.80/lbs and they bleached the whites and folded everything nicely and got all the stains out, it was the most spectacular service ever. Does this place compare well?

Hey Mike D.,

Thanks so much. Have you actually used Dolphin Laundry ? Just wondering if they do a good job or not. And I'd be curious to know their prices, too, if you know them.

A few of the maid services offers laundry pick up/delivery as well.  They charge by the pound or by the bag (anything you can fit in the bag for like $25 or so).

Chapter 11 doesn't necessarily mean out of business.  but, good to know.

I took my laundry to a cleaner in Lincoln Park and they wanted $2.00 a pound.  Very pricey but worth it for me.  My guess is a pickup service will be around there if not less.

When I was living in Lincoln Park (not near a laundromat, mind you), I found out about a place on facebook, Mudroom.

Now the website isnt coming up, so I'm not sure if they are still in business. but I got pickup + delivery (same day) for 1.25/lb.
If you call to find out they are out of business, i guess you can guess why .
