Sooo..I was watching Larry King tonight and Kim Kardashian was on talking about her new shoe website. Apparently you pay $39 a month and a team of stylist pick a group of shoes based on the preferences you pick. All jokes aside, has anyone checked it out?

   My understanding is that the $39/month membership fee includes one pair of shoes. So while I can see where they are going with the concept, the price tag makes me think that they are not shoes that I would be interested in owning.

   Not like that scam at all..."Stylists" simply present a group of shoes to you ..If you like, you buy and pay...If you don't , you don't pay anything...No hidden fees, nothing...I just wanna know if anyone has used the service and if they liked the shoes the stylist presented...It just launched this month...

   Well I think the difference with this site is that you actually get to *keep* the item.
   
   And clearly there are plenty of people out there who think that Bag, Borrow or Steal is a worthy investment because they have grown by leaps and bounds over the past few years. I don't get it, but appreciate their ability to take advantage of those who think that carrying a designer handbag gives them instant status.

   I didn't even know it existed. Now that I do, I don't think I'd use it. I don't think I'd want anything that has to do with her. I can find my own shoes online.
   
   That being said, if you ever do find someone who's bothered to use it, I am curious how it turned out.
   
   And I don't get Bag, Borrow, or Steal. You are paying like $100-$300 or so to 'rent' a bag for 2 weeks. If you really want a designer bag, save your $ and put it toward one. In the end, you'd shell out waaaaaay more than the cost of one high end bag just to use someone else's used bag for a few weeks.

   Online and shoes just doesn't go together for me. It's great if you have tried the shoes on and know they are comfortable and can find online for cheaper. In theory. But who has that much time?
   
   I have have have to try the shoes on before I will buy. I don't get zappos.

   Well, Zappos does offer free return shipping (as does Piperlime). However, Zappos prices are usually the highest of any of the sites or stores. People I know who buy shoes at Zappos don't mind that they might be paying a bit more because their shipping is so fast.

   I joined..It cost me nothing...I will be sure to share ...They said it will take their "stylists" a few days to get a selection together....We shall see... Although I know a lot of people can't stand her but I think she always looks great....So maybe just maybe it will be a good deal.....As for that bag site...Ridiculous...I can't believe people throw their $ away like that!

    I looked at it just now. You get one pair of shoes per month when you sign up. And if it really is $39, that would be a bargain if the shoes didn't look like crap/cheap/ugly. But they do, so I don't think it's worth it. Take the $ and go to Target instead

    I am a make-up artist and on my days off ..I do not want to shop, or really go to any store, shop, or boutique..So..on-line works for me....and the Kardashian site ships for free when you order and when you return...

    I just don't play the online game. My best friend is always buying things from bluefly since it is free return too. It just seems like a pain to me to always be mailing these things back. I am no stranger to returning things but I prefer to only buy things I am going to keep and that fit and are comfortable. I am not an impulse buyer at all.

    Interesting...I feel like shopping online helps me to combat impulsive buying much more easily, because it takes more steps to make a purchase. You can really see everything laid out in front of you in your 'shopping cart' and really take a moment to evaluate if you need it without feeling obligated to buy things that a salesperson helped you pick out. I shop much more logically online.

    Also--I just tried signing up for ShoeDazzle just to see what kind of stuff they come up with, and I couldn't even get through the screening process. It asks you to choose what pair of shoes you like the best and I couldn't even pick one pair that I remotely liked in three out of the four groups. Bad sign...

    I got my first pair today and I LOVE them!! The shoes are hot and fit perfectly! I did a search with the shoe name and did find them on other sites for anywhere from $2-$15 more than the $39 membership but none of the other sites had free shipping both ways. The shoes came packaged very nicely in a beautiful, sturdy shoe box with a cute pink drawstring shoe bag. Since it was my first order they also sent a full length, fringed, lovely olive green pashmina scarf. My selection was ready on Monday and I got them Friday. I am very pleased and will continue to use the service.

    i got my shoes today and i wear 10 they fit perfectly!! love them i look hot in them!! but i havent taken them out for a test yet, but so far the box it came in was sooo adorable and the shoes were wraped in purple tissue paper. i dunno i feel sooo girly when the shoes came in, excited! and they gave me a free "Pashmina", thought it was a shoe bag came to find out its a scarf kinda wrap/shawl! its nice. yeah the shoe are syn.. i dunt think they are gonna sell leather shoes for only 39 bucks.
