honestly, i think congress has better things to do than hold a hearing over an NFL matter. honestly. and seriously, i do not think this would be happening if it had been, say, the detroit lions who were caught taping the hand signals-- which, though everyone can plainly see/watch the hand signals during the games, it is a no-no for them to tape them? i guess i can understand, but i still don't get why people made it a big deal. sore losers.

yeah what's the problem? Like daniel says who cares about the war and gas prices....let's focus on public enemy number one. Belicheck. I have never been to philly and will never go. It was ranked as the number one ugliest city, peoplewise. All I know is I have seen a show on oxygen (bad girls club) they went to a girls hometown and everyone was busted, including her...it was philly. there is a girl on the real world who is from philly and she is skankified to the last possible degree.

Eagles fan here (relocated to MA about 2 years ago). Sen. Spector (R-Comcast) is correct that there is probably more to the story than the public knows. The NFL did not need to destroy the tapes, but what is done is done. The Federal Gov't has no authority here. Frankly he needs to get a grip as our nation's infrastructure is crumbling as we speak, Pennsylvania in particular leading that charge. He never represented me when I lived in the area, but he's embarrassing the Eagles fan in me now.
