I can't believe  Green Day's Boulevard Of Broken Dreams won Best Record.  Is this serious?  I find the Grammys in general are a total joke.  It's like a glorified popularity contest.  Anyone else have thoughts on this?  I was just on www.grammy.com... take a look.

I think its absolutley disgusting that an "American Idol" was a grammy winner.  I think it totally discredits the industry and it makes me wanna vomit!  Plus, come on, this was supposed to be Mariahs comback year...  Middle america man... what a mind%$#&...

Grammy's are so lame.  I watched a bit, but there are so many artists they just ignore.  I will say this.  Even though U2 and Green day make me want to vomit, at least, in the categories they won, they were the only people who wrote their own music.  That is at least something.  Everyone else had songwriters, and i hate that.
and at least New Order finally got a nomination.

the website is hilarious.  so many categories (106) including Best Polka album, best hawaiian album, best native american album.  Yet there is like 2 for 'alternative?'
