On my way to the Williamsburg Spelling Bee, I stopped here with some friends for a quick dinner. The pita sandwiches were all very large and extremely messy... don't even think about eating one on…

Decent falafel and hummus and basic foods like this. And very cheap, especially for the area. However:

1) this place is no longer called Uncle Mina's - they've recently hung a sign that says…

Uncle Mina's is the best cheap Middle Eastern restaraunt in NYC. The Falafel, Chawarma, Kebabs and sides are all the best I have had. Far superior to Oasis at the Bedford stop and better than City…

I'm a big fan of Uncle Mina's. The inexpensive but delicious and filling falafel sandwiches make for an excellent quick dinner. I go here regularly to get the large hummus ($5) for home snacking,…

This isn't your average falafel with white sauce shit. The Chicken Chawarma sandwich will stuff you for $5, and the babaganoush is the best I've ever had. No joke. It's creamy, smokey, and almost…
