of paying the ATM fees or maintaining an account at Schwab, eTrade, or SF Fireman's Credit Union if you travel alot.  Unless this policy changes, I see no reason to continue banking at First Republic

I've used their ATM as part of the credit union network.  You swipe in and are sheltered inside as you get your checks together or whatnot.  It makes a big difference on a windy day!
