We made Opentable reservations far in advance expecting the restaurant to be very busy on the evening preceding the eclipse, but on entering there were only 3 other tables occupied. The waiter led us to a small table in the corner so I asked if there were many other reservations. He replied 3 times over. I thought total bull. Over the course of the next hour only one other couple arrived. The waiter did offer us another table shortly after serving us bread and butter, now claiming there were lots of cancellations. I thought total bull.

Thankfully the food and service from that point on were good. My wife chose pan seared and oven roasted salmon with a balsamic sauce that was accompanied by Mediterranean ragout and locally sourced fingerling potatoes. I went with the herb crusted halibut in a beurre rouge topped with a prawn and accompanied by basil potato puree and asparagus.

If in PC, do go here. Very accommodating, excellent wine list, I had the
halibut, everyone else had salmon. Not a bad meal in the bunch. The geocode was off for me and I had to call for directions. It was the first place my kids experienced a good night out!

Really disappointed in this place. The food was wonderful, however the owner of the place was a complete ass. He berated an employee in front of God and everybody. No one deserves that. I won't be back.

Excellent in every way. Such a treat to find an upscale restaurant in a remote area. The ambiance was fantastic. Appetizer was Dungeness crab cakes... three delicate crispy cakes with a small salad. An incredibly delicate lemon-caper-paprika aioli vinaigrette dressing was on the salad. We had the Seafood Asian Boulibasse in Coconut Curry Broth with Yakisoba noodles, etc. and the special Sesimi Encrusted Ahi. Wonderful presentation. In honor of our anniversary we were offered either an after dinner aperitif or dessert.

We had a fabulous dinner here. The outside of the building didn't look as promising but inside very crisp white tablecloths, pleasant atmosphere and exemplary service. Our dinners were beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. Our waiter was very professional and helpful. He even brought me a special glass of wine that was not usually available by the glass that was wonderful. We don't come to this part of the coast very often but I hope this restaurant continues to get the success it deserves.

We decided to try this place tonight after reading reviews. Pulling up to what looked like a yellow motel with a restaurant we were not sure what we were going to find. People wrote fine dining atmosphere but it did not look that way from the outside. Great example of don't judge a book by its cover.
We ate in the bar which we would highly recommend. You can eat off both the bar menu or the bistro this way. It was also more of a casual setting as opposed to the white tablecloths in the bistro.
The crab cakes were delicious as was the oven roasted turkey sandwich. There was one bartender who was also the server who had to manage both sides but she was very attentive and checked on us often.
When in Pacific City we would definitely come back here again. In our opinion this is definitely worth a stop.

Food fair to good. Wine list excellent. Service is as bad as it gets. Quietly and discreetly asked if waitress could get help so our dinner didn't take two hours because we had to meet other people. The owner came to the table and in front of our guests confronted and berated me

      PROBABLY WON'T BE BACK!
I have posted very positive reviews in the past, but things have changed!!
The last TWO visits have been a major disappointment! The bartender was less than energetic and did not even know how to make the cocktail special that was on the blackboard.
As far as food... The pork chop special was a little overlooked, but really good... But the wife's steak was closer to a "breakfast steak" than the New York that was ordered and overcooked!
The deal killer for us and why we may never go back...IT TOOK 1.5 HOURS TO BE SERVED! THAT IS INSANE CRAZY!
The owner was over the top attentive after we voiced our frustration... But come on...1.5 hours!
It is one of the best places for nice dinner in Pacific City... But I will drive down to the "Beach Bistro" (15 minutes away) in Neskowin first!
I like the restaurant and the owner, but they need to get the timing in the kitchen figured out! Maybe a call to Gordon Ramsey is in order!

We came in later in the evening and this place was close to our hotel room. It was our first time in pacific city so if I would've known then, I wouldn't have come to the delicate palate. The food was terrible and over priced.

I got a beet salad for $10. It tasted as though it was bathed in vinaigrette dressing. My girlfriend got the fish and chips, which was $15. For being on the coast you would think the fish was fresh.... The fish tasted as though it was frozen and then dipped in the fryer. The only edible food was the fries and the final bill with a single beer was $40.

Will never go again. There's other places within a few miles and much better food for half the price.

We've passed by this restaurant hundreds of times and never stopped. Why? Because of the location. After checking yelp and wanting to try something new, we saw several great reviews for this place.

Decided to give it a try. Glad we did.

Entered to find a smallish cafe with about ten tables inside. Apparently there is outdoor seating by the town's airstrip, and a cozy bar area in the back. We checked them out, and decided to stay in the restaurant area.

Every table had been reserved but one, and we took it.

Ordered a few of the specials. One was the wedge salad with Oregon blue cheese and sprinkled with pecans. Enough for two and delicious. Husband tried the house Caesar, it was good as well.

Entrees...special seared Mediterranean Salmon, and the Seafood Asian Bouillabaisse in Coconut Curry. Husband said the salmon was good, but my Seafood Bouillabaisse was the winner. Delicious.

Save room for dessert (we were full eating half our entrees, packed the rest to go). We ordered the berry fruit crisp topped with vanilla ice cream. One order was plenty for two people.

Two cocktails, two salads, two entrees, coffees and one dessert: $97
