What/Why:: [Thank you for the great response, this event is over capacity at this point and we are no longer taking new RSVPs.]

This event is is open to anyone with a Yelp profile, Elite or otherwise. It's going to be a grand time and our hope is to see a bunch of fresh faces, so definitely feel free to invite your friends (Yelp's taking over the ENTIRE place - all three floors!)

Yelp is putting on the biggest and baddest election night results-watching party ever: Vote for Yelp! Our gracious hosts at Darlington House will be welcoming yelpers from near and far to celebrate with libations and relaxation!

Be sure to come in style, this is Yelp DC's first ever red carpet event, and those paparazzi photographers will be on the loose!

The War Room in the downstairs bar will feature many large screen TVs covering the election results, and the Maker's Mark Ambassador will be on hand to offer tastings and red, white, and blue wax-dipped tchotchkes. Peroni will also be on hand to offer you a glass to toast the win (or loss) of your fave candidate.

The Lipstick/Lobbyists Lounge on the main dining room level will features various pampering and rejuvenating services, along with shoe/boot shining from Canadian Club Whisky.

Upstairs, on the Inaugural Ballroom level, a DJ will be spinning all-American tracks for you to celebrate with, and don't miss the election decadence in the shape of donkeys and elephants from Moonstruck Chocolate! Imperia vodka will also be served for those that need a little liquid courage to get out and dance!

This is a 21+ event. Please bring your ID.

Replying that you're "in" on this event page does NOT guarantee a spot at the party so make sure to RSVP to DC@yelp.com in addition to telling us you're in! RSVP are due by October 31st.

TAKE METRO! Darlington House is just one block north of the Dupont Metro station on the Red line. Look for the searchlights beaming into the night sky outside -- you can't miss it!

They came out several days later after multiple appeals and such. No, there likely won't be results by 10. There likely won't be results by midnight, either. Enjoy yourself, and if you want to continue watching the results, there's plenty of bars in Dupont which I'm sure will be showing the count.

More importantly, Craig mentioned that since this is more of a man's event than previous ones what with the whisky and such, that we needed cigars, which I said I could bring. Anyone else interested so I have an idea of how many I should bring?

I used to smoke cigars far more regularly than I do now (used to be one or two a week, but I haven't had one since like April or something), so they accumulated. It's not a large amount, but enough that I'll be good for awhile. And yeah, we'll be outside.
