If I was there, I'd dress up like all of the characters from Serenity... at the same time. Then sing the theme song from Spider Man in Klingon, while building a giant paper mach'e 12 sided die out of comic books!
They had to change venues...the old one wanted to be a concert venue and was only willing to book 6 months in advance. What with the show growing, the only other place in town big enough was the convention center. It was cheap before, now it is just reasonable, I think.
