What/Why:
Elysian's annual Pumpkin Beer Festival.  Lots of pumpkin beers to try.  This event is actually on Saturday and Sunday, but Yelp won't let me post a multi-day event, and I'm not going to create another event listing for same exact thing, except for the next day.  So be ye advised.

The "Great Pumpkin," which is beer-filled, will be tapped at 4 PM on both Saturday and Sunday.

I wish I could make it, but I will be in Spokane, alas.

I'm actually not even sure I'll make it.  Yelp automatically lists you as "in" if you create the event, which usually makes sense, but not always.  I think I'd like to make it.  Last year, they had the same beers at Elysian Fields a week or two later, but there's no mention of this on the event listing on their site.

Also, Yelp insisted on rotating that image 90 degrees CCW.  It's fine where I found it on the internet, and on last year's event listing, where I used the exact same image.  Buggy bug is buggy.

Fantastic experience.  Pay $15 for 6 6oz glasses of beer and a souvineer glass(which you drink from of coarse!).  I want to say there were about 40 different beers to choose from, of all varieties.  Don't think that there are just Elysian beer's either, these beers came from all around the area!  I did miss The Great Gourd ceremony, where they tap beer straight from an enormous gourd.  Overall, I did enjoy my experience for the first time ever.  Fun get together over a random October weekend in my opinion :-)
