What/Why:
HEELLOO EVERYBODY!
Gary Vaynerchuck, host of WineLibraryTV, will discuss his book Gary Vaynerchuk's 101 Wines: Guaranteed to Inspire, Delight, and Bring Thunder to Your World.

Come and enjoy a free tasting of Pey-Marin wines, a local winemaker who makes outstanding Rieslings and Pinots!

Gary will be in town to root for his Jets against the 49ers, so you gotta show up and give him the business.

Come and join the party from 1pm - 3pm... and bring the thunder!

Woohoo! Is it terrible that a man who uses the words "sniffy sniff" makes me this excited? :) I can't believe he'll be in SF again! I'm definitely there.

Had a blast when CrushPad hosted Gary Vay-Ner-Chuck's 500th winelibrarytv Show this summer.  He's high energy and a web 2.0 pure marketing genius.

but why pay $30 when you can see him at books inc ( and drink good wine!) for free? I think he's awesome but the Fort Mason event is a bit crazy- they're asking for us to bring a bottle of wine, appetizers to share AND pay $30...

From the website: "Why does it cost $30 if I have to bring food and wine: The $30 covers the room, rentals, and gifts. All moneis made is put into the event."

But I know what you mean.  $30?!?  I can go to a concert with that dough.
