What/Why:: It is that time of year again as the Rally America National Championship comes to town.
Events kick off Thursday May 13th at Noon at Pioneer Courthouse Square with a public display of the top rally cars of both National and Local teams. Come out and meet X-Games stars Travis Pastrana and Dave Mirra, DC Shoes Founder and You Tube sensation Ken Block and his new Ford Fiesta Rally Car; and scores of other interesting cars.
On Friday, May 14th the action starts at Portland International Raceway with public displays and actual stages being around in and around the Race Track. Plan on arriving early as in years past the line up to get into PIR has been backed up onto I-5 !!!

A new update for the rally! The event has been added to the Max Attack calendar, which means we will also be getting the finest two wheel drive competitors from the US and Canada. Max Attack events offer big money prizes to competitors who rarely get to rally for cash.

Festivities at PIR and Pioneer Courthouse Square are shaping up nicely, please come by and say howdy at either place. Or for real rally action in the woods come out Dufur way for Saturday and Sunday stages. If you have any questions please send me a Yelp message.

Entry list has swelled to 65 teams! Some of the best and brightest will be out at PIR flinging it with reckless abandon on Friday. Don't forget Thursday at Noon at Pioneer Courthouse Sq, lots of rally cars, free SWAG! Stuff to buy. A fundraiser for Big Brothers/Big Sisters at the #33 Alfa Romeo entry complete with refreshment by VooDoo Doughnut. Some see the fastest Subaru's, the sleekest Mitsubishi's and classic rally iron like Saab 96's.
