Each participating restaurant will have a special Yelp Eats menu. For $25 + tax and tip, you can order an appetizer, entree, and dessert from the menu. The menu will be offered all week long, so essentially, you could go out every night to a different participating restaurant if you wanted. It would be $25 + tax and tip each time though. Hope that is clear... let me know if not?

Their new address will be: 7133 East Stetson.

Hmmm. Digestif and Sea Saw were owned by the same people, so that is possible. I am asking around... We'll see what they say.

Meanwhile, to pick my plan, I used a spreadsheet. Lowest score wins. If the Apps weren't exciting, 3 points. If the main wasn't exciting: 3 points. If the dessert wasn't exciting 2 points. Reputation (according to others or my own) bad rep: 1 points. Great rep: -1 point (remember low score wins).

That reduced the list to eight. Digestif was in the top eight so I was excited to have my top seven. But now that they are back... we'll just have to see.

I haven't called in my reservations yet (will do wed), but baring availability problems (restuarants or friends) my plan is to eat at seven places at 6:30p as follows:

Tue: ATLAS BISTRO
Wed: DIGESTIF or 12 THE MISSION (depending of who is with me)

So here is the official update on Digestif:
*They will be officially re-opened starting tomorrow (Wednesday) in their new location.
*They will serve the Yelp Eats Menu tomorrow (Wednesday 7/22, Friday 7/24, Saturday 7/25, Sunday 7/26) + next Wednesday 7/29 and Thursday 7/30.
*They apologize for the confusion with the wine dinner...

5p Canal is going out of business. Farewell HH tonight 1/2 price drinks.
6p Trader Vics 3yr anniversary HH.
7:30p Yelp Eats: San Gabriel
9p: $10 for 10: 10 well drinks or snacks for $10 at Upper Deck/Acme/Dos Gringos.

If you see me out and say you know me from Yelp, I will buy you a shot! :)

Other deals I plan to hit after yelp eats:
Estate House 3 course meal $20 ends July 31.
Pasta Brioni 3 course meal $20 starts August 1 (perfect!)
Digestif: Yelp Eats on tue and wed next week.

I also wanted to add that the ROARING FORK 'yelp eats' menu goes all summer. I found it on their website in their menu PDFs and it's just their "Summer 3 Course Menu" deal. So if your stomach can't handle taking in all the places in a week, there's that option.

Summer Menu Feature @ Zinc Bistro
Beginning Sunday, July 26, Zinc Bistro will be implementing a special Mid-Summer Menu Feature.

Every Sunday, Monday and Tuesday through the end of summer, Zinc Bistro, in addition to our Dinner Menu, will present a unique Three Course Prix Fix Tasting Menu for $28. The menu will change weekly and will be served with dinner starting at 5:00. Reservations appreciated but not required.

Hi again!

I work for Roka Akor and just want to say we had an amazing week and met the greatest people. It is truly appreciated all the great support we received this week. It so exciting to be so busy in the middle of summer! But for me the bonus was meeting a lot of new guests and was so great to get to know everyone. I know we will see a lot of the guests return.

For those of you keeping track, I hit six out of seven. Dang it, so close to goal! We got too full at the Trader Vics 3 year free buffet on Friday and never made it to San Gabriel.

I will write one final review after that summarizing the whole thing. But tonight, I'm off to Digestif at 6:30p for seven of eight meals sccomplished before heading to free texas hold'em at the upper deck.

In the meantime, here are the ongoing deals yelp-eats like inspired:
Digestif: Yelp Eats today (wed 7/29) and tomorrow only
Estate House 3 course meal $20 ends July 31.
Pasta Brioni 3 course meal $20 starts August 1-31, sun-thr
Roaring Fork 3 course meal $25 till end of Sept (I'd have done them a week later had I known!)
Zinc Bistro $28 three course varying menu till "end of summer", sun-tue
