I think if you are Elite all you have to do is RSVP on the elite page as usual.  The RSVP to the right is for everyone else.  Can't wait for this event!

@Julianna - I found myself in a similar situation with an Elite Before and they were accommodating with me. It was when Carrie was CM, but I'm sure if you remind Monica of how awesome she is (which grant it is the truth) she may be able to help you out ;)

Thanks Bill. My original +1 was a nonyelper, the person I want to bring is a yelper, but not elite. I just didn't know if we (meaning me and my +1) get invited I should just tell her to wear the name tag with the other girl's name on it :)

Considering there is a ping pong table, I don't think regular cocktail attire applies. I've been to a number of these things and one needs not worry about being too under or over dressed. All colors of the rainbow will be represented.

Thanks Jim, but what gets me is this, in the beginning it was mentioned they were looking for yelp accounts they have not met yet and this was an open ticket to meet them, now it has turned into the same folks they have known for years at every event and that is cool too, just be honest about it. Yea, I got reneged to.  I love the email lets you down easy that you are not 'cool enough'.. lol.  it's all good, I was always last to get picked in kick ball to.

Haaa haa Geoffrey.   How was it possible to get reneged?  If it was done in order of Elite over non-elite, then I find it strange that you aren't going.  If it was done in order of sign-up or lottery,  then I can see that this could possibly happen and an email confirmation sent in error.

I am in favor of all Elite 2010 folks going so they can kick off their new ELITE status and to get to know other Elitists and the like.  They should get a bit of precedence in my opinion, even over seasoned Elitists.

Anyway,  looking forward to the pics and feedback on this one.   Have fun guys!  :D

I've always felt that "seasoned Elitists" should get in the back of the line, behind your garden variety Elitist, and still farther behind your greenest Elitist, who in turn is behind your somewhat established non-Elite, who has for some time been frowning at the back of the head of the nouveau non-Elite, who themselves stand a pace behind your infant non-Elite set (a rough gang), who, if they are acting admirably, have ceded their place in line to the prematurely-born non-Elite set, these being second only to those who have unwittingly found themselves with a Yelp account and those standing in line because they thought it was a line for soup or bread.
