Yelp New York is holding a neighborhood promotional week for Chelsea in which select local businesses are offering exclusive discounts to passport holders throughout from June 3rd - June 10th. For a list of participating businesses keep an eye on the photos on this event listing.

Passports will be distributed to yelpers at our June 2nd launch party to be held at the Chelsea Art Museum. Saying you are "I'm In" or "Sounds Cool" on the event listing DOES NOT mean that you're on the guestlist. You MUST RSVP with your full name and the link to your Yelp profile by emailing nyparty@yelp.com and space is limited. Confirmations will be sent via email on May 29th.
The event guests will also have a chance to meet, see and taste samples from several of Chelsea's premiere local businesses. Enjoy tours of the Chelsea Art Museum, potential performances from local dance troupes and meet the people behind some of your favorite local haunts!
While the event is free to those on the guestlist, we are recommending a donation of $20 to charity: water, a non-profit organization bringing clean safe drinking water to people in developing nations. There are a LIMITED number of open slots so if you're not an Elite yelper please RSVP to nyparty@yelp.com and you'll find out on Friday whether you make the guestlist or not!!
I was all upset because I didn't get my confirm, but then I remembered life doesn't begin and end with Yelp...especially when you have friends who can get you in anyway :)
