In conjuction with Company of Angel's next production Chalk Boy, we welcome the glamourous and classy Ruby Champagne in a very comfortable & relaxed environment.
The instructor will provide gloves & boas & shimmy belts to use in the class! Learn the 'burlesque basics' like the glove peel...teasing w/ a boa...shimmies!
A portion of the proceeds will go to The Jeff Griffith Center to help homeless GBLT youth in Los Angeles. So not only will be feeling sassy and classy about yourself, you'll be also giving back to the community!
About the Instructor: Ruby Champagne's adventure in burlesque started with her performance debut at Kitty Nights in the Lower East Side of New York City. Arriving in Los Angeles, she has performed at The Whiskey, House of Blues Hollywood, King King, The M Bar, Bordello...along with a semi-residency at Boyle Height's East Side Luv. One of Ruby's specialties include performing burlesque and cabaret with live bands like Santos de Los Angeles, Casa de Calacas, The 454's, and The Wiseguys (on 11/26!) to name a few.
