Ist Annual Long Beach Ho o'laulea Festival (formally Tiki Beach Fest)

This venue is going to be exciting! It is on the otherside of Belmont shores.......just on the beach and alfredos! It will have Hula halaus..hawaiian Food from Moanna, Canoe rides....Keiki activities...
..even Fire Knife Dancing!!

In the past years..this event has has been know as the Tiki Beach Fest.

It was an event focused towards............Beach, vintage, and Tiki's

Now.........word has it that it is now going to be changed to the long beach ho olaulea.....and organized by a group of local hawauiians that organize other hawaiian events.

As an Islander and a Hawaiian Product Vendor.............I find this exciting!

Currently there are established hawaiian events in various communities, from no cal to socal and event to san diego.

Ho olauleas are Festivals which are usually 2 day events..........which draws islanders and various people , to which ...they can relax and enjoy the aloha spirit! Enjoy hawaiian foods of all sorts.....such as kalua pig, teri, manapua, lau lau, saimin, shave ice, hui hui (bbq), ..and more...

In addition, there usually are back to back entertainment! lotsa hula halau's, hawaiian bands and music.......and more!!

Lastly, these events Brings many hawaiian vendor from all over!!

Some common products found at most hawaiian festivals are:
hawaiian type of accessories (rings, necklaces, etc.......silver/ gold..etc..)

Hawaiian print style purses, bags, backpacks, luggage,

Hats, visors, tshirts, clothing of all sorts....

crackseeds and island style snacks,...

Hawaiian print car seats and suchs......

events.,.....hawaiian leis, flowers, and plants!

So, in closing.......come out and support the long beach ho olaulea!! Or even any Ho olaulea....in your area!! Based on the change over.......and refocus.........this event should gain grown in eveyway...which will be a blessing and a whole lot of fun!

last time i had them kawika, it was some crafts fair (don't ask why) in oahu...they were ono-licious! haven't been able to find any of them around the mainland. ;(
