Formerly known as the Saddleback half marathon and 5K; there aren't many featured half marathons around (most are piggypacked onto full marathons), and this one has a nice, scenic route through Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Woods and Aliso Viejo. A great way to spend Memorial Day (wear red, white or blue to get a free water bottle.)
There are also 5K, a 1/2 mile kids run and a diaper dash that day too.
This will be my first official half marathon ~ but I've been training with hilly trails so far (did 13 miles this past Saturday) -- will be mighty happy if I can do it under 2 hours.
