Fellow Nighthawks, put down that cup of coffee and pick up a cocktail. Get off your stool and onto the dance floor for the live music of Tom Schraeder & The Viator Records Revue and DJ Mother Hubbard (Life During Wartime). Stop getting lost in your own world and get lost in the interactive performances of Collaboraction. And above all, get out of that diner and into the galleries. After Dark--see the Art Institute in a new light.
This will be during my last week in Chicago. I haven't been to the Art Institute in months and this looks like it might be fun. Something to waste money on.
Actually Jass it's not a waste. You are supporting the arts, an industry that really needs the support in an economy such as this where funding has been drastically reduced or cut. And everyone needs a little esthetic nourishment :)
