Yep, Addy, it's open to everyone! When you call to make a reservation (or when you arrive at the restaurant) just tell them you want the Yelp Eats Menu!
I've already used OpenTable to make 4 reservations.... If I take my lunch everyday up until then, I might even splurge for some wine and cocktails at all these places that I've been dying to try!
I, for one, am really thrilled and thankful to all of the restaurants who are participating with this. It really is a great deal, and I'm looking forward to visiting old faves and trying out some new spots as well!
I was lurkin about Chicago's board a couple weeks ago and saw there's and was hoping that'd we'd have something like this here. Sounds pretty good. I'm a little leary of prix fixe, but I think it's a great way to try places. I might finally get over to Ecco and Shaun's now...
I'm soo jealous...we had our Yelp Eats week in Chicago earlier this month and it was amazing! In fact, 4 weeks later and I'm still full for all that delicious food. Enjoy!
For real, Addy! I'm so excited! And these are obviously abbreviated menus in terms of seasonings/side dishes due to the Yelp character limit. They sound even more appetizing when seen with full descriptions, which you'll obviously get at the restaurant.
1. Reservations are not required, but certainly recommended. Be sure to tell them you're coming for the Yelp Eats menu! 2. The $25 price does NOT include tax, tip, drinks, or anything else you may order. 3. Spread the word, this promotion is open to everybody!
This looks great! I love when Atlanta restaurants participate in these sorts of events. If only Restaurant Weeks in Atlanta were much more expansive and included MORE restaurants...
What I would like, is for these specials to offer the choice between the dessert, or a glass of wine. Bet you I am not alone...we did this topic a while ago and lots of people apparently are not crazy about sweets and desserts...
well, Dio.. look at your choices for the entire menu on all these restos... it's the bottom of the barrel. seriously, nothing looks that interesting... very cookie cutter selections. they have to think about cost y'all know... like at 5%. :)
No kidding, PC "Where have I landed S.! I guess it is a good thing that most the menu's are not Gluten Free friendly. I have narrowed it down to three restaurants.
Be sure to write all of your Yelp reviews here: http://www.yelp.com/bi... rather than on the restaurant's business pages. Like Elite events, this is a special treat that the restaurants are providing: not something you'd typically get on an average night at one of these places!
Sounds like fun! I can't believe I'm missing all but the last night of Yelp Eats, maybe if I can get my bags packed right after work I can go out after...
Anyone feel like Valenza? Wasn't planning on going out tonight but I can't wait till later in the week!
Also- am I correct to assume that if any of these places normally serve lunch, the YE menu is available then too? Not just at dinner?
And, Dio, I totally agree that it would be great if we had a choice of wine or dessert, not being a big sweet person either. But I'm psyched over the whole thing, so "oh well"!!
People are going to Valenza tonight? I had/have reservations at La Tavola but, to put it nicely, think my dining companion needs to be replaced. I live in the townhomes literally behind Haven/Valenza and the Valenza menu is calling my name. Was thinking of walking over at some point - let me know if it is ok to jump in if y'all see this!! Thanks!
