What/Why:: Throughout the month of August, guests having breakfast or brunch at Pacci Ristorante can get good morning odds. On Saturdays and Sundays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., Pacci makes gambling taste good with "The Scramble Gamble" and offers diners a special breakfast menu from which they can order with the opportunity of receiving those dishes for free.

At the end of guests' weekend breakfasts during this time frame, a Pacci employee flips a coin while the guest calls it, determining whether he or she must pay the bill or receives those special breakfast items free of charge. The complimentary items include anything off of Chef Keira Moritz's special Scramble Gamble menu.

Chef Moritz also serves as a consulting chef for the The American Egg Board (AEB) so to make the winnings even sweeter, Pacci is partnering with AEB and The Good Egg Project to donate one egg for every petition signed during "The Scramble Gamble" to local hunger organizations.

"The Scramble Gamble" will only be available through August 31, 2010, and does not include beverages or dishes from the restaurant's regular menus.
