Alan B said it best. Merrimans does have a very Chez Pannissey feel to it. It's always nice to escape resort food.  I had filet mignon- grass fed, A+ also a salad with papaya, strawberrys, tomato, and beets all tied together with the best goat cheese I've ever had.  My dad raved about his mahi mahi as well as his chocolate cake dessert.
