throughout - good music, not too loud but not loud enough to feel like a dance-club. It's definitely a lounge. Impressive array of mixed drinks on the menu if you aren't able to come up with your own libation...

1. Tost Lounge

Neighborhood: Fremont

Solid place to drop in an catch some local bands that aren't cut from the same cloth as all the rest.  Great bartenders, and a nice, open layout.  It's a unique place that I'd recommend....

is great for bar food.  Nice bartenders.  Neighborhood feel.  Love it....

Redwood, you are what I have been looking for my whole life.  Good drink, awesome food (spicy fries with extra sauce please), nice bartenders, free peanuts.  It's like Linda's, but good.  And cheap...

the Seared Tuna, Prawns, a Pizza with Walnut Cream Pesto, and a "Meat Plate."  The tuna was served with a real nice mound of crunchy, fresh Thai-style salad; slightly sweet and spicy. A nice balance...

5. Lava Lounge

Neighborhood: Belltown

for it's own good, it is not Lava Lounge's fault. Bartenders are nice and the atmosphere is fun. Can be a little loud if you're trying to have a conversation, but there are games in the back....
