I couldn't imagine a trip home with a stop at Cheese Haven. The beer cheese, smoked meats, and - my favorite - beer cheese. Their butter cheese also is thoroughly amazing.  Every holiday season I place a Cheese Haven order, which is a huge hit with my native Californian friends. Just goes to show that California cheese ain't all that.  BTW, I'm in my mid-40s, and my mother remembers coming here…
