Used the coin laundry service for oversized items.  Not much room to wait inside, but with a coffeeshop next door and seating outside, not a problem.  You can buy single-load detergent for $0.75.  Normal sized washers varied between $1.50 to $2.00 per load, oversized washer was $3.50 per load, and dryers were $0.25 for every 7 minutes.  Their quarter machine worked, for which I was grateful.…
