I wouldn't recommend BG's for a nice dinner out, which is a shame, because the food used to be phenomenal.  Last winter, the gravlax they served could have come from any nice Brooklyn restaurant.  Unfortunately, they chopped the menu in half and now they really only serve a few good sandwiches.  The appetizers are good, but really not that special.  1/2 point for the homemade salsa.  What is…
