This place is not to be missed.  My mom grew up in this town, I visit often and always make sure to visit the Canteen several times.  It's a piece of history, the food is fantastic.  Maid-Rite is a pale imitation.  All I can say is GO, GO, GO!!  You won't be sorry. The help can be a little surly, but it's all just part of the charm.
