I've got nothing new to add about Dittmer's. This place fucking rules!  So many tasty meats, great sammiches and all sorts of random grocery items including Kinder's Happy Hippos which makes me a happy hippo indeed.  Some Saturdays the knife guy is there sharpening knives for folks, kinda cool to watch.
