Oh, whenever he went to his uncle's apartment in SoBe, little Mikey would head to this park on his bike and sit on the jetty, listen to his Walkman, and watch the ships come in and out of the channel.  I never did recall seeing surfers, but there were many brave jet-skiers riding the wake of the largest cruise ships.  It was amusing.  South Pointe Park is a great place to walk about, maybe on an…
