For the rest of the world, Cafe Aroma is mediocre. For Idyllwild standards, it's fantastic. The food is okay--dinner was really tasty. Partner ordered the Osso Bucco and I had the duck. I was hesitant, because duck is easy to mess up, but they pulled it off deliciously. The endive salad was fresh but poorly conceived, and our chocolate lava cake for dessert was just bad.
