Was in DeLand this past weekend and had a quick opportunity for a pleasant dining experience at Cress.  WOW.  Not what one would expect in a small, mostly rural town in CenFla. The Chef, a PhD professor on sabbatical from nearby Stetson, and his podiatrist wife followed their dream and opened Cress.  Chef is from Mumbai (Bombay, India).  Most of the offerings have a distinct Indian influence but…
