Somewhere underneath the wine reduction and the cream lurked a  half decent dinner. But overzealous saucing by the chef ruined it.  I ordered crabcakes for an appetizer.  While the crabmeat was fresh, its delicious sweetness was masked by TWO different sauces plus a sprinkling of orange fish roe, probably tobiko.  The house salad was fresh and nicely dressed with an  Italian vinaigrette.  My…
