Antique restoration and conservation, wicker and rush weaving too.  The oldest piece we have worked on was a 1600's portuguese seaman's chest.  The oldest American piece was a late 1700's chest of drawers.  We have a few pieces we documented showing appraised values in run down condition prior to restoration and appraised value afterward.  This shows value is not lost when professionally restored…
